Below I have listed my reasonings for this idea. I want and think this should happen because we have enough action shows on as it is and I think we should have somethings to look at that will make us laugh.
Marvel
Awesome characters, great comic story arcs, phenomenal cinematic universe. There are several characters they could use to make comedic television programs. For instance, they have a character by the name of 'Demolition man'. If he isn't one of those characters you can tell a comic company has dropped the ball on, then I don't know who is.
I mean, look at him. Knock-off Wolverine costume AND knock-off Daredevil costume. He could easily have a show were he is the focus, and it follows his mundane career as a costume hero. Have a few scenes were he admits that he is a stupid and dumb hero. In the show he could be this sloppy nobody who has seen superheros and wants to be one.
Another hero that goes by the name of 'Squirrel Girl' could easily have her own comedic show. No offense to any of her fans (Jacky), but she is surprisingly dumb. Yes she is very strong and she even beat the crap out of Wolverine but, she is still very useless. The point of these comedic shows would be to star useless characters and put them in comedic situations. Maybe have an episode were she stops a hostage crisis at a 7-11. Or one were a gunman robs a Chick-fil-a. Those are just a few reasons why she could be the star of a comedic Marvel TV program.
And finally, we have a character by the name of 'Slap Stick'. Marvel intentionally created this character as a humor note. And why note use him as such? Give him a show every thursday were it follows him on these wacky adventures. Maybe one episode were he stops a robbery. Or one were he goes to local high schools and talks to them about safe sex? Just a couple of ideas I had.
These shows would probably be mature in nature, so I'd have them on either FX or HBO.
