
It looks like fans can finally rejoice! It is being reported by multiple reliable sources that 20th Century Fox have scrapped plans to make a Fantastic Four reboot after being made aware that they would not be able to meet specific deadlines regarding filming and post-production.
Although the studio had announced their top casting choices, nobody besides Michael B. Jordan had ever been finazlied due to there being some concerns regarding the quality of the script Simon Kinberg had put forward.
Effective immediately, the rights to the Fantastic Four and all related characters will be reverted back to Disney and Marvel Studios. There has been no word yet on what the company plan to do with these new aquisations, but expect some form of announcement in the coming months.
