Fantastic Four has a 9% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is on course to being a box office flop. It was in March 2014 that reports surfaced about Fox wanting to ditch the cast and crew of the movie to start again and January of this year when claims surfaced in regards to the reboot being scrapped altogether. What sounded like silly rumours at the time are now looking a lot more realistic, and based on what we were left with, the studio giving up might just have been for the best.
The first trailer restored some faith in the reboot, but seeing as the majority of that footage didn't even end up in the movie, it's clear that whatever Fantastic Four was at that point changed greatly due to reshoots. In fact, if rumours are to be believed, it underwent over 40 pages worth of them! Now, director Josh Trank has taken to Twitter to distance himself from the release, and while that was quickly deleted, his controversial comments have since gone viral (see that by clicking here).
So, what did you think of the critically panned Fantastic Four reboot? Cast your vote below, and once you've done that, be sure to share your more in-depth thoughts on it in the usual place.
