Jason Momoa has spoken in the past about playing the first big-screen incarnation of the King of Alantis in the DC Cinematic Universe, and now he's added a few tidbits during a brief video interview with USA Today. The actor seems very excited to be working with director Zack Snyder, and says that even though there's currently no script for "certain things", he trusts his vision for the universe that's being built. Momoa is also looking forward to his sons being able to see his performances as Aquaman, since a lot of his other roles (we're looking at you tongue-ripping Khal Drogo) would have been a little on the dark side for them.
I'm in for the long haul. It's an honor. Zack [Snyder] had me at hello, literally when he told me what he wanted to do with the character and what he wanted to do with the world. There's no script written yet for certain things, but I listen to his ideas; I trust him." "I'm known for playing rough characters and they're not really allowed to see those things, so it's going to be exciting for my kids to see poppa play with Batman and Wonder Woman and Superman and so on."
See Momoa as Aquaman for the first time when Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters March 25, 2016.
