Andy Serkis Confirms That It's His Voice In The STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS Trailer

I'll be honest, after receiving early word that it was Benedict Cumberbatch narrating the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer and hearing a brief sound-bite prior to its release, I was convinced it was indeed the Sherlock actor's distinctive tones providing that sinister "dark side, and the light" voiceover. But then a couple of other outlets did some detective work and claimed it was performance-capture legend Andy Sekis, and this was followed by "confirmation" from Good Morning America. Well, if that wasn't enough we now have it from the man himself; though he's still keeping schtum on who exactly he'll be playing in the movie. Here's what Sekis had to say to Absolute Radio at the The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies première this evening.

That should leave no doubt...but there are actually still those that think we might be hearing two different voices in he trailer. Sith Lords do tend to come in pairs, but I seriously doubt it. As to Serkis' role (or roles?), feel free to speculate in the usual place
