RATINGS: AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Up A Tenth; THE FLASH Down A Tenth

Last night's pretty adult orientated (that "autopsy" scene has to be the most graphic thing we've seen from Marvel yet) episode of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D managed to score 4.5 million viewers and a 1.6 demo rating, ticking up a tenth from last week's series low. This might have had something to do with the much hyped cameo from Hayley Atwell's Peggy Carter, who many fans are looking forward to seeing debut in her own spin-off series next year. This isn't a massive improvement on last week though, and for a show many (me included) feel hasn't put a foot wrong since it returned for its second season, it should really be doing better. the CW's The Flash also continued to garner high praise with an episode that saw Barry take on the metal man known as Girder, but this week's ratings are down a tenth from last with 3.6 million viewers (1.3/4).
