These days studios are hesitant to take a risk on an R rated franchise picture, and this has led to watered down outings for many of our favourite, formerly blood-soaked, characters. Obviously violence, sex, and F-bombs do not a good movie make, but the fact is the likes of Robocop and The Terminator started life as smart, adult orientated sci-fi and that's what most fans want to see them continue on as. Well, Jai Courtney has revealed to TheArnoldFans that he doesn't think Terminator: Genisys will buck the current trend. "I would love to see it be rated R, but I don't think it will," the John Connor actor tells the site. "I think in this day & age, it's much more likely to be PG-13. There were no f-bombs. But there'll be a healthy amount of movie violence. Well, let's say PG-13 movie violence there Jai! Seriously though, a teen-friendly rating for the recent Robocop reboot didn't help it at the Box Office any -- maybe it's time studios began to focus on making quality films first, then see what rating they warrant. Courtney also (all but) confirms that Arnold Schwarzenegger will return as the ageing cyborg for the next two movies, which also have release dates. "Hard to imagine a Terminator film without Arnold. I guess we start filming - I think the plan is do the next 2 back to back in 2016." Terminator: Genisys hits theatres July 1st, 2015.
