GAME OF THRONES Cast Reportedly Sign On For Season 7 With Big Raises

Although we don't know for sure that Game Of Thrones will be renewed for a seventh season, given the show's immense popularity it seems pretty much a certainty. Taking that into account, THR report that the main cast members have renegotiated their contracts and signed on for the next season with a lot of extra coin in their pickets. In fact, according to the site this new deal would make them the highest paid actors on cable TV. Here's how the tiered pay-system works according to their sources:

The "A" tier — which includes actors Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) — is paid at the highest level. The "A" tier actors are said to have renegotiated their deals in tandem. The so-called "B" tier — which is said to include co-stars Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) and others — is paid on a lower scale but is said to be scoring raises as well in exchange for season 7 options. A lower tier of regular actors will receive much smaller pay increases.

Of course we don't know that all of those characters will even make it through season 6 yet! We've been bringing you set snaps from the various season 6 filming locations over the past few weeks but it seems to have gone a bit quiet on that front for now. We can tell you that shooting has wrapped in Osuna, Spain (doubling for Dorne), and we might have some new set pics from the Co. Antrim Castle Black set in Northern Ireland later on.
