Love it or hate it, the Transformers franchise won't be going anywhere anytime soon. After just four weeks of release, Transformers: Age of Extinction has become the first film of 2014 to hit the $800 million mark globally and is just days away from hitting $900 million. Its current worldwide cume is $886.3 million. That's more than Transformers ($709 million) and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen ($836 million). Will it top Tranformers: Dark of the Moon? ($1.12 billion)

That's harder to predict, but it will most definitely hit $1 billion in the coming weeks, so it wouldn't be too surprising if it did! The fourth instalment in the Michael Bay helmed franchise did well despite the World Cup distracting moviegoers, and it now holds a number of new records, including being vital box office territory China's highest grossing movie of all-time. How many times have you guys seen the movie?
