Actor Nat Wolff Is The First To Be Cast In THE STAND

We have our first confirmed cast member for WB and CBS Films' adaptation of Stephen King's The Stand: Nat Wolff. Director Josh Boone tells THR that he wrote a part specially for the actor, whom he refers to as his "lucky rabbit's foot" after Wolff appeared in not only The Fault In Our Stars alongside Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort, but Boone's 2012 directorial debut Stuck In Love. "He's a wonderful improviser, he's my secret weapon, my lucky rabbit's foot. Two or three of the biggest laughs in my first movie, he improvised. He's gonna be in every movie I make." In a story featuring more than 20 main characters, it's a little odd that Boone is creating another one for Wolff, but then maybe it'll just be a small role. Perhaps we'll begin finding out who'll be portraying the likes of Stu Redman, Nick Andros and Randall Flagg soon now that this cat's been let out of the bag.
