Jason Statham On Superhero Movies: "You Wouldn't See Me Rushing To The Cinema"

Jason Statham -- who has made a career out of starring in the same movie over and over again with different titles -- just ain't a fan of the 'ol superhero flick. In a previous interview, when asked if there was any chance he'd appear in the new Star Wars movie, the actor revealed that anything sci-fi/fantasy related just wasn't in his wheelhouse. Now when quizzed about possibly suiting up in a comic book based movie some day, Statham infers that there really isn't a whole lot to them, and that it's all about the Benjamins. "It's all about money, kids pay money to go and see them," the Expendables actor said. "The fascination is superheroes, it's what people want to go and see but you wouldn't get me rushing to the cinema to see those. I like the old-fashioned type of film. They've never offered me a part in one of those and I don't think the shoes would fit. Or the cape wouldn't fit!" Well, I know there are a few of you who seem to think Stath would make a good superhero -- what do you think of this?
