New TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION Details! MILD SPOILERS

Empire have added an article to their website that fills out some character names and fills in just a few more story details.

Mark Wahlberg's character is now named as Cade Yeager. Nicola Peltz is confirmed as Tessa Yeager, with Jack Reynor playing her secret racer boyfriend Shane (full name given as Shane Dyson in Yahoo's coverage of the same stills). Stanley Tucci is playing Joshua, and Sophia Myles is playing a geologist named Darcy. The cast is rounded out by Li Bingbing, who is described as "the CEO of the Chinese Transformers" and Kelsey Grammar as Harold Attinger, who is being called the film's non-robot big bad.

The article also gives us a log-line of the movies plot.

"Earth is scarred by the events of the past three movies, but is moving on after all the giant robots disappeared. Cade Yeager, an inventor, discovers a buried Transformer which sets the stage for the return of the rest of the Transformers.

It makes me think though, was the previous reported synopsis, posted by Michigan Film Office true? It certainly sounds that way. For people who don't remember, it read;

“As humanity picks up the pieces, following the conclusion of ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon,’ Autobots and Decepticons have all but vanished from the face of the planet. However, a group of powerful, ingenious businessman and scientists attempt to learn from past Transformer incursions and push the boundaries of technology beyond what they can control — all while an ancient, powerful Transformer menace sets Earth in his crosshairs. The epic adventure and battle between good and evil, freedom and enslavement ensues.”

Hmmm...

Anyways that's not all! Apparently Michael Bay might return for a future installment(s)!

"I'm feeling really good about this one. I love my cast. There's a huge scale to this, but also huge soul." Bay continued, "Well, it's a director's world... It's a franchise world at the moment. You know, Peter Jackson is still in Middle-earth..."

What do you think?

Transformers: Age Of Extinction stomps it's way into theaters on July 10, 2014.
