BOX OFFICE: THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE Likely To Earn $90 Million This Weekend

According to Deadline's early estimates, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire looks set to retain the top spot this five-day weekend with an extremely impressive $90 million haul (the sequel has already passed $200 million domestically). Frozen will definitely give it a run for its money though, as the animated movie will likely debut with upwards of $80 million. Meanwhile, Thor: The Dark World will likely hold onto third place after earning $3 million yesterday, while Spike Lee's Oldboy remake is projected to earn only $2.5 million. Neither the studio or director are said to be entirely happy with the end result, especially after Lee cut an hour out of the movie for producers to his and Josh Brolin's dissatisfaction. Asked about these changes recently, the actor said "I do have opinions but it’s better I bite my tongue." What are you seeing this weekend?
