Deadline has exclusively revealed that Thor: The Dark World (which opened yesterday in just a small handful of international territories like the UK and France) took a total of $8.2 million, a number which currently puts it well ahead of its predecessor. It will roll out across counties like Australia, Germany, Spain, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Russia, Mexico and Brazil, before being released in North America on November 8th. Disney and Marvel apparently see what they are calling "tremendous room for growth" at the box office from Thor's $450M worldwide, with one exec enthusiastically telling the site that, "All signs indicate we’ll have a much higher result. I can’t put a number on it, but by the time we report domestic numbers on November 10th, we should be in really great shape." How much do you guys think it will earn?
