Reports surfaced in May that director and writer Jeff Nichols was considering Chris Pine for the lead role in his sequel drama “Mud.” Now, it seems that the “Star Trek” star is out of the picture, and “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past” actor Matthew McConaughey is in.
