As expected, “Harry Pot­ter and the Deathly Hal­lows Part 2” dethroned “The Twi­light Saga: New Moon” ($72.7 mil­lion) as the high­est gross­ing sin­gle day ever, draw­ing about $92.1 mil­lion on about 11,000 screens at 4,375 locations.
