Bernard Hop­kins made his­tory by beat­ing jean Pas­cal for the WBC light heavy weight title. Jean Pas­cal on the other hand believes that the defeat will make him a bet­ter boxer in future. He became the old­est player in the world to win the title by unan­i­mous deci­sion over Pas­cal by putting on a dis­play of superb defence and oppor­tunis­tic instincts before a chant­ing crowd of 17,560 at the Bell Cen­tre on Sat­ur­day Night.
