We don't know a whole lot about Sony's animated Popeye flick, other than it's being written by The Smurfs screenwriters Jay Scherickand David Ronn, and directed by Samurai Jack/The Clone Wars creator Genndy Tartakovsky. The film's relase date has been shuffled around quite a bit, but it looks set to hits theatres sometime in 2016 at this point...maybe late 2015. Anyway, what do you guys make of this? Should Popeye be left alone or are you looking forward to this updated version? Sound off below.
