This isn't the first time we've heard Penelope Cruz's name associated with Bond 24. Back in June of last year, a source for Yahoo! Movies informed the site that producers were in negotiations with Cruz for a role in the next Bond installment. A few weeks later, a source for US Weekly shot down those rumors. Now it appears as though Yahoo! Movies was actually right.

BOND 24 will be directed by Sam Mendes ("Skyfall"), from a screenplay written by John Logan. The cast will include: Daniel Craig as James Bond (007), Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Miss Moneypenny, and Ben Whishaw as Q. The film will be released in the UK and US on October 23, 2015 and November 6, 2015, respectively.
