The site above was discovered at around the 2:07 mark in the recently released trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 trailer (1080p versions at least anyway). It's an intriguing addition, but before you get too excited, it appears as if this is counting down to the recently announced unveiling of new footage from the sequel which will take place in Times Square this New Year. Whether this could be an indication that it will be released online simultaneously remains to be seen...
In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep.
