According to sources of both Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, actor Jason Momoa has entered negotiations with Warner Bros. to join the growing cast of the Zack Snyder-directed Man of Steel follow-up, tentatively titled Batman Vs. Superman. As for who the 38-year-old will portray in the film, it's currently being kept underwraps. But speculation suggests it's could be the big bad Doomsday, or even the Martian Manhunter, who's also a charter member of Justice League. Whoever it may be, it seems likely that Jason Momoa has replaced Captain America: The Winter Soldier actor Callan Mulvey on Warner's radar. Besides the HBO series Game of Thrones, Momoa had a title role in the 2011 flop Conan the Barbarian, and he reportedly turned down Marvel's "low-ball" offer to play Drax the Destroyer in Guardians of the Galaxy. Anyhow, should his deal close with Warner, Jason Momoa will join Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, and Laurence Fishburne. And the Zack Snyder-directed film is set for release on July 17, 2015! What do you think?
