Hello fellow CBM users! Thank you for taking time and reading this. In this article, I'm going to give you my speculation and thoughts on where I think the MCU are heading.
In the post credit scene of Iron Man, we had Nick Fury and Tony Stark exchange some dialogue for the first time.
Nick: Mr. Stark you've been part of a bigger universe... you just don't know it"
Tony: Who the hell are you?
Nick: Nick Fury, I'm here to talk to you about The Avengers initiative.
Let's see, here's what I don't understand. Hulk, according to the timeline of the MCU, has been around longer than Iron Man. So why did Nick go to Tony first and not Hulk if the plan has always been to form The Avengers including Hulk?
It's obvious... his technology. Nick Fury needs it... why? So the Government can't get it.
Wait a minute... the Government did get it in Iron Man 2, right? Right. So fast forward to Captain America: The Winter Soldier. It's obvious from the trailers and everything we heard about it thus far, the Government is up to something. In the trailer, it is heavily implied SHIELD and the Government has 'up' there game, literally, with a whole bunch of weaponized helicarriers and a new system on how they catch the bad guys. It is even implied the Government is shady as in Iron Man 3, the Vice President is part of the Extremis operation. But what about this quote from Nick Fury,
"We're going to neutralize a lot of threats before they even happen"
What!? HOW!?
I'll tell you how.
ULTRON.

Yep, you read that right. Ultron. How?, you may ask. This is how.
Kevin Fegie has confirmed that Ultron will be made from a collage of things that have been established in the MCU and the Government will be behind it all. Why? Well let's see everything the Government has.
Thor Destroyer equipment=check
Iron Man armor/Tony tech=check
Chitutari tech=check
Super Solider serum=check
Vibranium=check
Thor DNA=check... WAIT WHAT!
Yep. Although very subtle, remember in The Avengers when Thor gets stab by Loki and he just throws the bloody knife down on Tony property? Who's to say Tony didn't keep that? Who's to say Tony isn't responsible for creating Ultron?
Again, Kevin Fegie, very subtle, confirmed Tony might be one of the creators of Ultron by stating that there is a character within the MCU who is great with AI. What other character besides Stark? But why would Stark create Ultron? Simple, he's not really Iron Man anymore. Yes he did say he's Iron Man at the end of IM3 but I say I'm sexy everyday... doesn't mean it's true. He made Pepper a promise, to be with her. The last thing he wants to do is, "oh sorry Pep, as much as I want to have sex with you, I got to go save some peeps!" No. The Government, aware he's not really Iron Man anymore approaches him of this idea of Ultron. As much as he doesn't want to does it because it'll stop him from having to be a superhero and blah blah he can stay with Pepper and be happy! Knowing, in order for this to work, he has to make this Ultron-thingy, super powerful!
Remember what Joss said? Ultron comes from The Avengers?
Ultron-
Vibranium serum/Captain America=check
Thor DNA & destroyer armor=check
Iron Man armor and JARVIS AI program=check
Hulk/Abomination serum=check
Black Widow & Hawkeye super hi-tech gadgets=check
Notice how I put Jarvis in there? I think Jarvis should be installed into Ultron. Why? Because Jarvis is a superhero himself, he's been through everything. But early on in the movie, Jarvis, now Ultron, sees the world is corrupt. It's as bad as he thought. And who's to blame, the citizens of this world. Most world damage happens because of the humans. Ultron decides he has to take these humans out before they cause more damage to this already imperfect world. After so many catastrophes happen because of Ultron, Cap'n, Widow, and Hawkeye decide to put The Avengers back together. Iron Man at first disagrees and tries to stop Jarvis. Jarvis, who now is Ultron, tries to kill Stark until the Avengers save him. Tony decide to join them and they fight, some die, some live, Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch join, bing bang.
Ultron will basically be composed of everything that makes the Avengers so powerful.
Let's movie on. Guardians of the Galaxy. The real, formal, introduction to THANOS. Now I'm going to be honest. I know close to nothing of this movie other than the ORB will play a huge factor in this movie and might, almost definitely, will be an infinity
I think in GOTG, Thanos, who has been confirmed to be the one lurking over everything, is in search for the Infinity Stones. He enlist the aid of Ronan, who is an important figure of the Kree, for help to find the ORB. Which at this point I think is the Time gem. I think Thanos should actually get hold of the ORB at the end of the movie, while teasing his quest for finding the others. I think the post credit scene for GOTG should be the defunct one of IM3, with the Guardians of the Galaxy contacting earth. I think The Avengers should get the message with the GOTG warning them of Thanos present and saying they must find a stone quick that is hidden on Earth, Which leads to the Avengers 3!
There are 5 stones. Asgard has 2, The Collector has 1, Thanos has 1, and the other one is on Earth.
A3 should be a mix of the Infinity Gauntlet and Thanos quest. It should unite the whole MCU and a battle we won't forget. There must be DEATH, it must be COSMIC, and it must be BADASS!
I also think it should sort of reboot the MCU, with the past movies happening, but a fresh new start leading into Phase 4. That includes new cast members, new teams, and new superheroes!
A lot of people think the Incredible Hulk mid-credit scene was a waste, but I think after the events of Iron Man 2, Nick Fury sent Tony Stark to go tell General Ross about his, "team we're putting together", but why would Tony and Fury want the Government to know about The Avengers? Easy, so when The Avengers do eventually come together the military doesn't come after the Hulk, who is technically wanted by the military.
I think Phase 3 movies will be-
1. Ant-Man
2. Doctor Strange
3. Inhumans
4. Hulk 2
5. Thor 3
5. Avengers 3
NOT EXACTLY IN THAT ORDER.
The mirror company of Shield, S.W.O.R.D, technically exist in the MCU. A deleted scene of Thor proved that.
